Damper Rings (intelligent property for noise reduction)
( 1) Damper ring is installed on wheel rim, it has obvious effect of noise elimination caused by wheels’ vibration shock.
(2) With installation of damper rings, lab test results shows reducing total sound radiation power of lateral excitation and radial excitation by 8.1dB(A) and 8.6dB(A). If installed on both sides of wheels, the noise reduction effect will be even better, at least more than 12dB(A).
(3) Comparing with other methods, damper rings have advantage of: simple structure, easy installation, high safety, wide application, better noise-reduction effect, cost-effective etc.
